An exciting opportunity exists at Thornybush! We are looking for a Lodge Management Couple to join the team and lead our 5* Lodge, Saseka Tented Camp. We are looking for a couple to fulfil both hospitality and safari requirements. Saseka is one of our newest offerings and the jewel in the Thornybush group of lodges.

We are looking for a Lodge Management Couple who will create a world class experience for both our guests and our people. We require individuals who are high performers and driven by collaboration and a team environment.
What you will be doing:
- Assist the Head of Lodges with the overall running of the lodge
- Ensuring that Thornybush is recognised as an award-winning and world-leading lodge
- Ensuring the profitability of the lodge
- Leading the teams
- Assisting with all health and safety protocols
- Ensuring all COVID-19 compliances
- Upholding the Thornybush brand and overall standards
- Ensuring that you are continually developing in the business
- Oversee all departments
- Timeous support and communication with other departments
- Coordinate central procurement / deliveries and invoicing
- Daily administration tasks
- Reservations / Apex
- Responding to emails relating to Lodge Operations
- Monthly tasks
- Leave rosters and people related issues
- Ensuring that we provide our guests with a world class safari experience
- Leading the Rangers, Trackers, Night porters and Maintenance teams based at your lodges
- Working with Head Guide to oversee fleet vehicles

- Ranger: FGASA Level 3 + DEAT registration + PDP + Rifle
Requirements:
- No less than 5 years in a lodge management role
- Academic qualification – Hospitality diploma | degree or similar
Position: Lodge Management Couple [Hospitality + Safari (Ranger FAGASA Level 3)]
Permanent: Basic + 50% medical aid + 7.5% contribution to Provident Fund
Accommodation: On site
Work cycle: 6 weeks on 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on 1 week off
