What you will be doing

• Leading the finance team
• Working with the Head of Finance
• Oversee the month-end process
• Oversee the operations of the finance department
• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
• Manage the accuracy of financials
• Liaise with auditors and correspond with various departments across the company
• Assistance with payroll
• Report running

• Proven record of leading a team

• Presentation skills

Technical Skills

• Qualified Accountant i.e., SAICA/CIMA registered
• Excellent Command of the English Language
• Excellent Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite and various other programmes)
• Financial Programmes: Xero, Pastel, SageVIP
• Property Management Programmes: Nebular, Travelyst, eRes and or similar
• Extensive understanding of financial trends in the industry and macro environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager (no less than 3 years)
• Minimum 5 years in a finance position, leading teams
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Experience in the travel sector to your advantage
• Ability to travel, no less than once a month
• Driver’s License
• Clear Criminal Record

Position Details

• Contract type:   Permanent
• Site:                          Hoedspruit (alternative locations will be reviewed)
• Remuneration:  Cash + 7,5% contribution to Provident Fund + 50% contribution to Medical Aid
