In a nutshell

As our Head Chef you will partner with the Lodge Manager and the Executive Group Chef to provide a world-class food experience for our guests. We are looking for an innovative Head Chef who is able to problem solve and grow their team.

What you will be doing

While upholding the Thornybush standard in your lodge you will be required to lead and mentor your team. You will be accountable for the full kitchen and your team.

  • Culinary degree
  • No less than 7 years in a 5* lodge
  • Proven track record of growing and mentoring team
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Drivers Licence (to your advantage)

Position Details

Contract type: Permanent Sites:  SASEKA Work cycle: Currently 3 weeks on: 1 week off which will change to 6 weeks on : 2 weeks off Remuneration: Cash + 50% contribution to medical aid (Discovery) + 7,5% contribution to provident (Old Mutual). Accommodation on site.
