As a Relief Manager, you will be an anchor at Saseka Tented Camp. You will partner with the Lodge Manager and anchor the lodge when they are not available.
As our Relief Manager, you will work across all the departments in the lodge. You will be integral to the success of the lodge by ensuring that the teams are aware of their requirements and continually aiming to exceed expectations. You will ensure that our guests are always receiving a world-class experience.
Here is a little bit more of what will be involved in your day-to-day:
• Proven track record of successfully leading a large team (leading, motivating coaching etc).
• Excellent at building guest rapport.
• Excellent communicator.
• Proven track record of achieving results | goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make quick but sound decisions.
• Emotional Intelligence.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Computer literate.
• Technologically savvy.
• Basic accounting and/or bookkeeping skill (Xero experience to your advantage).
• Knowledge of reservation systems (Travelyst experience to your advantage).
• Excellent knowledge of Excel will be an advantage.
• No less than 5 years in an anchor or relief manager role and/or assistant lodge management role.
• Academic qualification- Hospitality diploma | degree or similar.
• Driver’s license essential.
• Location: Onsite.
