Activity Overview

Thornybush & Sabi Sands Game Drives

Twice-daily game drives are led by experienced guides and trackers whose deep understanding of the bush has been shaped by years spent in the field. From reading fresh tracks in the sand to identifying distant alarm calls, their knowledge and intuition bring every safari to life.

No two drives are ever the same. One morning may reveal a leopard resting in a marula tree, while another brings a close encounter with a herd of elephants moving quietly through the bush. Some outings are filled with dramatic sightings, while others offer quieter moments that reveal the beauty and complexity of the natural world.

Whilst Big Five sightings are always a highlight, the true magic lies in discovering the smaller details – the tracks left behind overnight, the intricate relationships between species, and the ever-changing rhythms of life in the bush. Through the stories and insights shared by your guide and tracker, each drive becomes far more than a game-viewing experience; it becomes a deeper connection to the bush itself.
