Accommodating 4 to 6 guests, the villa features two main bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a twin room with a shower only. An absolutely phenomenal stay at Kamara House – as a venue it was faultless (very spacious, beautifully furnished, well equipped, well maintained and very private) and the staff were also flawless. Both the cooking and quality of the food that was prepared multiple times a day by Chef Shane was amazing and the team (Vero, the butler, plus the 2 housekeeping ladies) that looked after us were awesome. We had the best steak that we had all holiday here…
We spent 3 incredible nights at Thornybush Lodge with our family, our kids aged 10 and 16 from Australia along with my parents visiting from the US. It was the most memorable experience. Staying in Kamara House allowed all of us to be together under one roof, making the experience intimate and special since we only see each other once/year. The dress code is informal and neutral colors are recommended. A warm jacket / scarf and beanies for winter and evening safaris. Comfortable walking shoes, a bathing costume, binoculars, camera and video camera. Sunhats, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
