GENERAL TERMS:

• Valid to SA residents (Proof of residency will be requested)
• Rates are per person sharing, per night (except Kamara House).
• No triples allowed at Simbambili and Saseka Tented Camp.
• Little Saseka rates do not include a private vehicle and private meals at the above rates
• A private vehicle can be requested and will be charged at a rate of R17,500 per day for Little Saseka
• Private meals will be charged R2,000 per day for 1-2 adults sharing
• If Guests are travelling with children in Little Saseka, they will be charged the full adult rate per night, and private meals & private vehicle is compulsory. Private meals will be charged at R2000 per day to a maximum of 4 Guests, and the private vehicle will be charged R17,500 per day
• Special applies to new bookings only
• Subject to 2 nights minimum stay
• 50% single supplement will apply to single requests
• Any changes to travel dates, the available rates for that period will be applicable
• Bookings will only be held provisionally for 48 hours
• Thornybush terms will apply
• 100% full payment will be required on confirmation
• 100% cancellation fees will apply if the booking is cancelled

RATE EXCLUDES:

• If booked on reduced or special rates, all beverages are excluded
• Premium brands and craft gins
• Gratuities
• Conservation fees and TOMSA levy
• Airstrip landing fees
• Transfers and flights

KOSHER MEALS POLICY

• SA/Special Rate Guests: R1250 pp/pn
• Minimum 2 weeks’ notice for Kosher requests 
• Full-Rate International Guests (1–5 pax): No charge, but limited offering (no kosher supervision or disposables)
• Large Groups: Rates on request, guided by level of kosher requirements

CHILDREN POLICY

Thornybush Game Lodge (excluding Kamara House)

• All ages welcome; triples allowed (subject to availability)
• Under 6s not permitted on drives; babysitters can be arranged
• Private vehicle needed for kids under 6 to join game drives (R14,500/day, bookable 24–48 hrs prior)

Child rate under 12

Saseka Tented Camp and Simbambili Lodge

• Children 12+ welcome
• Little Saseka accepts children of all ages with private vehicle booking
• All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult on drives
• No children under 16 allowed on bush walks

LEVIES AND FEES 2026

Thornybush Private Nature Reserve
A fee of R650 per person per day will be an additional charge. The fee covers the following levies:

Sabi Sand Wildtuin
A fee of R850 per person per day will be an additional charge. The fee covers the following levies:
➢ Community levy
➢ Conservation levy
➢ TOMSA levy
Sabi Sand Gate Fee is payable directly at Gowrie Gate (for guests staying at Simbambili)
➢ light vehicle entry fee R374 per entry
➢ per person entry fee R172 per entry

100% of the conservation and community levies go directly to the reserves, supporting anti-poaching, habitat protection, local jobs, and education. Your stay helps sustain the Greater Kruger and Sabi Sands ecosystems and their communities.
